For years, the Triumph Street Triple has been universally praised as one of the finest middleweight naked motorcycles on the planet. It is sharp, incredibly balanced, and features that legendary inline-three engine note that sounds like a mechanical symphony.

However, Triumph felt the street-friendly naked segment needed something even more uncompromised. As part of its aggressive “Unleashed 2026” campaign, the iconic British manufacturer has officially launched the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX.

Priced at ₹13.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the RX is not just a cosmetic package; it is a specialized, race-inspired evolution of the already manic Street Triple RS. If you want one, you will have to move fast: Triumph has explicitly stated that this model will remain in production only until the end of 2026.


Aggressive Ergonomics: The Move to Clip-On Handlebars

The single most defining change on the Street Triple 765 RX is the cockpit. Triumph has ditched the standard flat, upright handlebar found on the R and RS models, replacing it with a set of low-slung clip-on handlebars.

This dramatically alters the personality of the motorcycle.

The engine characteristics are beautifully chaotic. It is remarkably smooth and docile below 6,000 rpm, making it easy to manage. However, cross that threshold, and the intake howl turns ferocious as it rushes toward its 12,000 rpm redline. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a slick 6-speed gearbox equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, enabling seamless, clutchless upshifts and downshifts.

To emphasize its rarity, exclusive “RX” branding is neatly integrated onto the sharp rear seat cowl and the low-slung, single-sided stainless steel silencer.

It is undoubtedly less practical for everyday grocery runs or cross-country touring than the RS.
